Remove counterfeits from TikTok Shop

TikTok Shop sells through videos, live streams and an in-app catalog that web-based monitoring can't see. We're the only provider we know of that reliably scans it.

How counterfeits show up on TikTok Shop

A catalog inside the app

Much of TikTok Shop's catalog only exists in the mobile app. Tools that crawl websites never see it, so counterfeits there go unreported.

Sold in videos and live streams

Products are pitched in short videos and live shopping sessions, often by affiliates rather than the seller. The listing behind the video is what has to come down.

Fast-moving sellers

New shops appear quickly, and listings change titles and images to avoid keyword filters. Image search catches what title searches miss.

Reporting on TikTok Shop yourself

TikTok Shop's Intellectual Property Protection Center (IPPC) is where rights holders file complaints. You'll need to prove ownership of your trademark or copyright and report each listing. That works for a handful of listings, but not when you can't see most of the catalog from a computer and new shops open every day.

We handle it for you: we find the listings, verify every one and file the reports through TikTok Shop's own rights-owner channel.

How we handle it

The same three checks we run on all 31 platforms we monitor. Nothing is reported until it has passed all three.

Step 1

Detect

Targeted multi-term queries, broad keyword sweeps and image search, so listings that never mention your brand are still found. Your authorized sellers go on an exclusion list before the first scan.

Step 2

Recognize

Our image recognition algorithm, Bullseye, compares every product image against your logos, designs and product images. It judges the images, not the title.

Step 3

Verify

Our review team manually checks every remaining link before it's reported. Uncertain items are held. No bulk or sampled approvals.

Common questions

Can you really monitor TikTok Shop's in-app catalog?

Yes. We scan TikTok Shop inside the app, with the same three checks as every other platform. As far as we know, no other provider does this reliably.

Do you cover TikTok itself, not just the shop?

Yes. TikTok is one of the 6 social and messaging platforms we monitor, alongside Facebook, Instagram, Telegram, X and YouTube.

Will my official TikTok Shop and creators be safe?

Yes. Your own shop, licensees and approved creators go on an exclusion list before the first scan, so they're never reported.
